One of the most fascinating success stories in Swedish metal of late. Horndal play heavy sludge metal, lyrically themed around their rural hometown of the same name, its history and historical figures. The band's popularity has grown rapidly with every release since their 2017 debut EP. Their third album "Head hammer man" (2014) has officially promoted Horndal to the top tier of Swedish metal, and their live shows, in all of their aggression, are among the most personal and intense displays of local patriotism imaginable.
