Sweden's Hypocrisy rank among the major pioneers in melodic death metal. They went from traditional death metal in a more mysterious, "paranormal" direction when guitarist and main man Peter Tägtgren (Pain) also assumed vocal duties. Resulting in a plethora of classic albums like "The fourth dimension" (1994), "Virus" (2005) and most recently "Worship" (2021). In addition to getting even more popular in recent years, Hypocrisy retain their well-known intensity as a live act, with the charismatic Tägtgren front and center.
