Moonspell entered the elite of Gothic Metal even with their debut "Wolfheart" (1995) and to this day enjoy tremendous success especially in their home country, most recently with their twelfth album "Hermitage" (2021). The Moonspell sound is spiced up with everything from synth to black metal, while Fernando Ribeiro's distinct identity as a frontman is another key factor in the band's appeal.
