The kings of British folk rock, alongside Jethro Tull. Whose dueling guitars influenced Thin Lizzy, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden in the process. Wishbone Ash's legendary status was cemented even in the early 70s with "Blowin' free", "Phoenix", "Warrior", "Ballad of the beacon" and many other immortal songs. And their original fire still burns, as evidenced by albums like "Coat of arms" (2020). Singer/guitarist Andy Powell & Co were present at the very premiere for what became SRF, in 1992, and their music and live performances are the embodied SRF spirit.
